Gait and balance dysfunctions are common in neurological disorders have a negative effect on quality of life. Regularly quantifying these mobility limitations can be used to measure disease progression the treatment. This information provide more individualized Inertial measurement units (IMUs) utilized quantify different contexts. However, algorithms required extract valuable parameters out raw IMU data. These need validated make sure that they features should extract. validation performed per since or symptoms influence performance an algorithm ways. Therefore, this dataset contains data from both healthy subjects patients with diseases (Parkinson’s disease, stroke, multiple sclerosis, chronic low back pain). The full bodies 167 were measured IMUs optical motion capture (reference) system. Subjects standardized assessments non-standardized activities daily living. 21 shared online, other only obtained after contacting corresponding author signing sharing agreement.
